Preschool Teacher

Primrose School of Symmes is a private preschool serving families with children aged 6 weeks through 12 years. We are more than daycare! Our accredited school provides an outstanding learning environment with curriculum that is developed by experts in the early childhood field.

We are now hiring immediately for our Preschool classroom, working with children aged 3-4 years!

• Must meet basic requirements of local child care regulatory agency, including passing a background check
• Must hold a high school diploma at minimum, Child Development Associate Degree or higher preferred
• 1-2 years experience working with children
• Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations

• Is responsible for the overall supervision and daily class functions of a group of children aged 3 to 4 years.
• Implements the approved lesson plans and daily classroom schedule in accordance with the Primrose Balanced Learning curriculum and programming.
• Accepts responsibility for maintenance and necessary housekeeping duties of the classroom, common use areas and playgrounds.
• Attends all required staff meetings, workshops and/or school functions & assists in other capacities that Director, or designee, determines is necessary.
