ACCEL Schools is hiring Daily Substitute Teachers in Cincinnati, Ohio for the  school year. We are looking for dependable, enthusiastic individuals who enjoy working with students and can step into the classroom to provide a positive and supportive learning environment. Daily Substitute Teachers provide classroom coverage when regular teachers are absent and help ensure students continue to have a productive and positive school day. Responsibilities include following teacher-provided lesson plans and delivering classroom instruction, maintaining a safe, welcoming, and productive classroom environment, providing students with guidance and support throughout the school day, managing classroom routines and student behavior in accordance with school expectations, supervising students in classrooms and other areas of the school, utilizing school-approved curriculum and instructional materials, building positive relationships with students and school staff, communicating and collaborating effectively with teachers, administrators, and other school team members, following school policies, procedures, and daily schedules, and performing other duties as assigned.

We are looking for individuals who are dependable, flexible, and comfortable stepping into different classroom environments while providing students with consistency and support. Qualified candidates will hold or be eligible to obtain an Ohio Substitute Teaching License, have strong written and verbal communication skills, demonstrate effective classroom management and the ability to build positive relationships with students, be dependable, professional, and adaptable to changing classroom needs, maintain confidential student and school information appropriately, work effectively both independently and as part of a school team, successfully complete required federal and state criminal background checks (FBI/BCI), and have previous experience working with children or students preferred, but not required.

This position is paid at a daily rate of $130 per day.
