ACCEL Schools is hiring Daily Substitute Teachers in Cincinnati, Ohio dedicated to providing a superior education for all students for the upcoming  school year. We are seeking teachers who are passionate and dedicated to bringing the curriculum to life for each student. Founded in 2018, Mount Auburn Preparatory Academy is a public charter school serving Cincinatti families with a continuous EK-12th grade education. Offering a college prep education with an emphasis on social-emotional development, the school features small class sizes, expansive student and family support services, and a wide range of extracurricular and sports opportunities. Mount Auburn Preparatory Academy is part of ACCEL Schools, an established network of public charter schools serving K-12 students throughout the United States since 2014.

Responsibilities include:

Support classroom instruction and help maintain a safe, welcoming learning environment Supervise students throughout the school day (classroom, hallways, playground, cafeteria) Follow provided lesson plans and school procedures Utilize school-approved curricula that reflect the diverse educational, cultural, and linguistic backgrounds of the students Build positive relationships with students and school staff Collaborate and communicate effectively with colleagues Perform other duties as assigned

Eligible for or currently hold a State of Ohio Substitute Teaching License Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage confidential information appropriately Ability to pass federal and state criminal background checks Experience working with students or in an urban environment is a plus but not required

We offer the following benefits:
Compensation This position is paid at a daily rate of $130 per day. Factors which may affect starting pay may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
