EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION SUPPORT TEACHER
WHO WE ARE:The JCC Early Childhood School provides a high-quality, age appropriate curriculum that encourages development, curiosity, imagination, and self-esteem. The school is available for children ages 6 weeks – 5 years old. Our child care program is open to everyone regardless of race, religion, or ability, and features a low child-teacher ratio. Positions available in multiple age groups.

- Implement curriculum and activities which promote stimulation, learning, and fun.
- Assist with activity planning and preparation of materials and supplies for daily use.
- Create a warm, fun and nurturing environment.
- Maintain a clean and safe classroom.
- Ensure compliance with licensing regulations and accreditation standards.
- Assist in any classroom in order to be in ratio when needed.
- Be highly mobile and physically able to easily engage in activities like standing for long periods, walking, bending, stooping, and sitting.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education and Experience
- Prior experience in a licensed childcare center or degree in Early Childhood Education a plus.
- Maintain First Aid and CPR Certifications;
Communicable Disease Training and Child Abuse Training a plus - Attend mandatory professional development sessions, teacher meetings and family events.
