Xavier University invites applications for a visiting faculty position in the Department of Biology to begin in Fall 202 7, to complement its new undergraduate programs in Neuroscience. The successful candidate should bring a passion for teaching undergraduates. This is not a remote position. The pos ition is renewableannually for up to three years, pending continued need. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

The individual must either b e a Ph.D. candidate or hold a Ph.D. inan area of the biological sciences . S pecialization in neuroscience requi red, with any area of neuroscience welcomed .

Responsibilities include:

teaching the equivalent of 4 courses per semester which may includ e courses in neuroscience, majors - levelanatomy and/or physiology, professional skills courses for majorsand/or other upper division courses of interest . Most of these areexisting classes and already have materials prepared that will beshared.
