Earth's Precious Jewels Literacy & Fitness Academy is seeking a Childcare Preschool Teacher to support early learning and daily classroom routines in Cincinnati, OH.

Position Summary

The Childcare Preschool Teacher is responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing preschool environment where children can grow academically, socially, and emotionally. This role partners with families and fellow educators to foster curiosity, positive behavior, and age-appropriate learning experiences.

As a part-time, onsite team member, you will help plan and lead classroom activities, support children’s development through play-based learning, and ensure consistent supervision throughout the day.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create a welcoming classroom setting that supports children’s learning through play, routine, and structured activities.

  • Assist with planning and delivering age-appropriate lessons and learning experiences across foundational preschool skills.

  • Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized classroom environment, including consistent supervision of children.

  • Support positive behavior using developmentally appropriate guidance, routines, and encouragement.

  • Communicate with caregivers and internal team members regarding classroom activities, progress, and day-to-day needs.

Required Qualifications
  • Experience working with young children in a childcare, preschool, or educational setting.

  • Ability to follow established classroom procedures while contributing ideas to improve daily learning.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with children and families.

  • Demonstrated commitment to child safety, supervision, and maintaining appropriate boundaries.

  • Ability to stand, walk, and actively supervise children throughout the day.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with early childhood learning practices, including play-based activities and foundational literacy concepts.

  • Experience supporting classroom activities that encourage social-emotional development.

  • Willingness to collaborate with a team to maintain consistency across daily routines.

  • Comfort with basic classroom documentation related to daily activities and observations.

Compensation

Hourly rate: $12.00 - $14.00
