Full-time hybrid position (3 days/week in office). Based out of either Cincinnati or Plainfield, IN.
Key responsibilities- Maintain and support the company's GIS system by posting, updating, and maintaining utility asset data for electric distribution.
- Review design drawings, maps, plats, redlines, and related documentation and accurately model those assets in GIS.
- Gather, analyze, and maintain geospatial data used as the utility system's system of record.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve GIS data issues and discrepancies.
- Perform QA/QC activities to ensure GIS data accuracy and completeness.
- Correct data quality errors and verify compliance with GIS business rules and standards.
- Communicate with Work Order Owners, Designers, Engineers, and Field personnel to obtain missing information.
- Minimum 2 years GIS experience required.
- Strong background and demonstrated experience in ESRI products.
- Experience in Small world.
- Utility industry experience.
- GIS or related technical degree.
