What You’ll Do:

Relate Search has partnered with a leading global manufacturer in their search for a Vice President of Engineering. This senior executive will lead the Global Engineering function, driving innovation, operational excellence, and strategic growth. The Vice President will oversee engineering strategy, product development support, process engineering, capital planning, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role also leads vertical integration efforts—bringing outsourced processes in-house to optimize cost, quality, and delivery—while guiding global teams through transformation and growth.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute the Global Engineering strategy to drive innovation and operational excellence.
• Lead vertical integration and capital investment strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery.
• Oversee product development support, process engineering, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Build, mentor, and empower high-performing global engineering teams.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to align engineering priorities with business objectives and M&A integration efforts.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field required; advanced degree preferred.
• 15+ years of engineering leadership experience within manufacturing or consumer goods industries.
• Proven success leading vertical integration, automation, and large-scale capital projects.
• Strong background in Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Exceptional leadership, strategic planning, and stakeholder management skills with global exposure.
