- Lead control panel design, including detailed layouts, power distribution, and component selection.
- Create detailed schematics, wiring diagrams, and BOMs using AutoCAD Electrical.
- Program PLC-based control systems and develop HMI applications.
- Design and implement control strategies for automation hardware.
- Troubleshoot and resolve control system and panel issues.
- Act as the lead electrical person on various projects, selecting contractors, setting schedules and budgets, and ensuring safe, quality installation.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Industrial Engineering.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in controls engineering.
- PLC & HMI programming capabilities required; experience with 480
Vac 3‑phase circuits highly preferred. - Experience in an industrial setting with electrical controls.
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical.
- Strong knowledge of Rockwell Automation products.
- Experience with industrial networking protocols.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels.
- Proficiency with personal computers:
Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, AutoCAD;
Rockwell software. - Ability to perform safely and efficiently in a time‑sensitive environment.
- Ability to travel up to 35%.
- Experience with low and medium voltage power distribution.
