Responsibilities
- Supervise day to day activities across Mechanical, Electrical, CT, and Metrology labs, ensuring smooth execution and on time completion of tasks.
- Plan workload, allocate resources, and coordinate shift/roster coverage.
- Monitor daily performance and resolve operational issues to minimize downtime and rework.
- Must be a subject matter expert in lab through past or current work experiences as a current high functioning technician in that area.
- Hands on experience operating mechanical reliability equipment such as load frames, fatigue testers, torque systems, and vibration/shock rigs.
- Strong electronics testing experience using oscilloscopes, DMMs, function generators, power supplies, and DAQ systems.
- Proficiency in mechanical/electrical failure analysis, including structured root cause analysis and troubleshooting of test setups.
- Experience with environmental & stress testing (thermal cycling, humidity, thermal shock, or ingress testing).
- Ability to work with instrumentation & sensors (strain gauges, load cells, displacement sensors) and validate accurate signal capture.
- Exposure to automated or scripted test setups using Python, LabVIEW, or similar DAQ tools.
- Strong documentation skills for test logs, data reports, reliability summaries, and maintaining GDP compliant records.
- Experience supervising lab technicians, assigning tasks, and managing daily workflow across Mechanical, Electrical, CT, and Metrology labs.
- Knowledge of quality systems and safety practices, including ISO standards, EHS protocols, and equipment maintenance readiness.
- Ability to collaborate cross functionally with R&D, reliability, quality, and electronics/mechanical engineering teams to support test planning and execution.
- Must Have Technical/Functional Skills (as listed above) and related hands-on lab experience.

- Strong documentation and communication skills, with ability to maintain GDP compliant records.
Salary Range: $70,000-$80,000 per year.
