Job Description & How to Apply Below

This isn’t a heads-down, behind-the-scenes engineering role. We’re looking for a Mechanical Engineer who wants to be at the center of the action
—shaping solutions, influencing decisions, and partnering directly with clients on complex HVAC and hydronic challenges across commercial and industrial projects.

You’ll act as a technical authority and strategic advisor
, working alongside Sales, Project Managers, and field teams to evaluate customer needs, develop engineered solutions, and balance performance, constructability, and cost. If you enjoy translating engineering expertise into real-world impact, this role delivers.

What You’ll Do
  • Serve as a trusted technical consultant, guiding clients toward HVAC and hydronic solutions that actually work in the field.
  • Lead system design and equipment selection for design-build and retrofit projects.
  • Collaborate early in pursuits to influence strategy, concepts, and scope—not just execute drawings.
  • Develop and review engineered drawings, layouts, and technical documentation.
  • Provide engineering support from concept through construction and start-up.
  • Present technical recommendations in client-facing meetings with clarity and confidence.
  • Ensure designs align with applicable codes and industry standards.
  • Mentor and collaborate with internal engineering and design teams.
What You Bring
  • 5+ years of mechanical/HVAC engineering experience with a strong hydronics focus.
  • Proven commercial and industrial project experience.
  • Proficiency with Carrier HAP (or similar), AutoCAD, Revit, and Excel.
  • Strong grasp of HVAC systems, load calculations, and equipment selection.
  • Knowledge of IMC, ASHRAE, and energy codes.
  • Ammonia refrigeration experience is a plus.
