Piping Designer

Complete Mechanical Services is an award-winning Industrial General Contractor located in Cincinnati, Ohio. Founded over 25 years ago, we provide innovative solutions including capabilities in Project and Construction Management, 3D Scanning & Design, Shop Prefabrication, Plumbing and Civil/Site work.

We are currently looking for an energetic, motivated Piping & Structural Designer to join our team, working on commercial and industrial plumbing projects.

Responsible for creating & assisting with detailed piping isometric and orthographic drawings for all types of industrial projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications.

• Create, modify, and maintain detailed piping drawings and 3D models for fabrication using AutoCAD Plant 3D.
• Develop isometric drawings, layout plans, and details for piping systems in compliance with industry standards.
• Collaborate with senior designers and project managers to understand project specifications and requirements.
• Assist in the preparation of Plant3D specs and catalogs using the Spec Editor.
• Utilize FARO scanning technology to ensure accurate fabrication.

• Associate’s degree, bachelor’s degree or relevant certification in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, Construction Management or a related field is preferred. Equivalent experience may also be considered.
• Basic knowledge of piping systems, mechanical design principles, and relevant codes and standards is helpful but not required.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD software (Plant 3D, Revit or Navisworks experience is a plus) or ability to quickly learn new software.
