Our client, a leading organization in manufacturing, is seeking an Environmental Health, Safety & Sustainability Specialist to join their team. As an Environmental Health, Safety & Sustainability Specialist, you will be part of the EHSS department supporting plant-wide safety, environmental compliance, and sustainability initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a proactive mindset, and a commitment to continuous improvement, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?- Support and lead environmental and sustainability compliance efforts, ensuring adherence to OSHA, EPA, DOT, and other regulatory standards.
- Maintain and review Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and ensure chemical review processes meet compliance requirements.
- Manage data collection, analysis, and reporting related to energy, water, waste, and greenhouse gas emissions.
- Assist in ISO 14001 and Eco Vadis certification activities, including audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Conduct site inspections, audits, and assessments to verify compliance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in Environmental, Health, and Safety roles, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with ISO 14001, OHSAS/ISO 4501, Eco Vadis, OSHA VPP, or similar certification programs.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to train and influence employees at all levels.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and data reporting tools, with excellent organizational skills.
