Job Title:

Piping Designer

The piping designer will be responsible for creating detailed designs and layouts for piping systems, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards.

• Perform CAD design of basic equipment layouts and piping routings that align with codes, standards, and client requirements.
• Coordinate work with other lead designers assigned to the task.
• Ensure discipline leads have the correct project standards and checklists.
• Maintain and update the overall 3D model as required.
• Prepare engineering drawings and documentation.
• Participate in meetings with clients as requested.

• 5+ years of experience in piping design or piping engineering.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Plant 3D.
• Associate's Degree in Drafting or Design.

• Experience with Revit.
• Experience in preparing orthographic drawings.
• Experience with Navisworks.

This is a hybrid position consisting of 3 days in the office and 2 days remote. The typical in-office days are Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Travel is limited, with no more than a week on the road and always home by the weekend. The company is a rapidly growing engineering consulting firm with a small business environment, allowing individuals to progress in their projects without the red tape of larger corporations.

This is a Permanent position based out of Cincinnati, OH.

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $145600.00/yr.
