Entry-Level Designer

A Designer job is currently available at Belcan in Cincinnati, OH. This is a full time, direct job with full benefits. Ability to take ownership for assigned design tasks or entirely of various complexity products, working independently or in a support roll. Understands design execution. Ability to understand design requirements and communicate with stakeholders. Must possess good communication skills.

• Evaluates program and project requirements, develops complex equipment and tooling concepts and designs solutions for the Production System.
• Using engineering design basis requirements, determines the appropriate design package content and defines design plan.
• Assists with developing multiple tool and equipment concepts utilizing alternative resources to rapid prototyping tooling solutions.
• Prepares various drawings and discipline design documents such as specifications, material and equipment list, change orders, transmittals, etc., as required.
• Ensures compliance with established design standards and practices.

• Associate degree or CAD experience
• Proficient in the use of CAD and other computer processing tools.
• Legal authorization to work in the US required and has or able to get security clearance.

• Experience with NX or other modeling software
• Experience with GD&T
• Associate or Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering

We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary rate of $49,920 to $62,400 however, Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline.
