Assistant Construction Project Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Project Manager to support our Project Managers in the seamless execution of projects, from preconstruction to closeout. In this role, you will be integral to managing project documentation, coordinating with subcontractors and vendors, and ensuring that all aspects of the project align with the design intent.

Responsibilities

+ Assist Project Managers with day-to-day project execution from preconstruction through closeout.

+ Manage project documentation including contracts, subcontracts, RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, and change orders.

+ Track project budgets, cost reports, and commitments in coordination with the Project Manager.

+ Assist with buyout, subcontractor coordination, and vendor communication.

+ Regularly visit job sites to observe progress and support field leadership.

+ Coordinate with Superintendents and self-perform crews to support schedules and sequencing.

+ Assist with logistics planning, material tracking, and short-term look-ahead schedules.

+ Ensure work aligns with drawings, specifications, and design intent.

+ Support quality control efforts and punch list management.

Essential Skills

+ 1 to 4 years of experience in commercial construction or project coordination.

+ Proficiency in Procore.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Blue Ash, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $39.00/hr.
