We are seeking an Entry-Level Mechanical Designer to join our dynamic, multi-disciplined, full-service A/E firm. This role will support the design of mechanical systems for buildings, with a focus on HVAC systems for design, bidding, permitting, and construction phases.

Theidealcandidatewillhaveafoundationalunderstandingofbuildingmechanicalsystemsandbeeagertocontributefromconceptualdevelopmentthroughfinaldesignandowneracceptance.

Thispositionofferstheopportunitytocollaboratecloselywitharchitects,clients,andotherengineeringdisciplinesonavarietyofprojects.

• Helpourclientsachievetheirgoals
• Workwith Director of Mechanical Engineering ,Senior Mechanical Engineer sand Project Managerstomeet KZFgoalsandobjectives
• Respondtoestimatedbudgethourrequestsfrom Division Manager sand Project Managers
• Assistprojectmanagerswithdevelopmentofprojectschedulesandbudgets
• Provide technical,projectmanagementandclientmanagementsupporttoprojects
• Workdirectlywiththe Director of Mechanical Engineering and KZFprojectmanagersandassumethe“day-to-day”responsibilityofmechanicalengineeringdesign/productionforassignedprojects
• Workwith Project Managerstoestablishdesignparametersconsistentwiththeprojectscope ,scheduleandbudget
• PrepareMechanicaldesignandconstructiondocumentsinREVITMEP
• Seekingadviceandcounselfrom Director of Mechanical Engineering and Senior Mechanical Engineersasneeded
• Interfacewithallprofessionaldisciplinesassignedtotheprojecttocoordinatethe Electricalwork
• Prepareelectricaldesignstudies,writtendesignnarratives,calculations,and analysis,anddirect
  
  Mechanical Engineeringsupportstaffasrequired
• Researchbuildingmaterialsandsystemsandselectingappropriateitemsforincorporationintothebuildingdesign

• Experience producing
  
  Mechanicaldesignandconstructiondocumentsinan
  
  A/Econsultingfirm
• Proficiency in REVIT MEP
• Proficiency in Microsoft Wordand Excel
