Water​/Wastewater Project Engineer — Lead Designer & Liaison

Our client is seeking a Water/Wastewater Engineer who can deliver high-quality infrastructure solutions while working in a firm that truly values its people. This role is well suited for an Environmental Engineer or Civil Engineer with water/wastewater experience, a P.E. or E.I.T., and the desire to help grow a practice.

• Planning, designing, and delivering water and wastewater treatment, conveyance, and distribution projects.
• Engineering systems typically in the 0.5–1.0 MGD range.
• Leading projects from planning through permitting and construction.
• Interfacing directly with regulatory agencies and municipal clients.
• Developing scopes, schedules, budgets, and proposals.
• Supporting construction through administration and technical coordination.
• Collaborating across civil, environmental, and other engineering disciplines.

• Professional water/wastewater engineering experience. A P.E. or E.I.T background in water/wastewater planning, design, and permitting.
• Experience with regulatory agency coordination.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD.
• Working knowledge of Word and Excel.
• Experience with 0.5–1.0 MGD systems. Operations or construction management experience and a willingness/desire to identify new project opportunities is a plus.
