Job Summary

The Senior Water & Hydraulic Engineer will work within our Water Resiliency Planning & Design Teams, a hybrid role that can be based in any of our Ohio locations including Cincinnati, Toledo, Cleveland or Akron.
Role Accountabilities- Develop wastewater and stormwater collection system models, conduct system planning, and perform regulatory studies.
- Provide technical input on new and ongoing projects, guide technical teams, and help ensure successful delivery of projects.
- Develop and review technical reports.
- Lead client presentations, coordinate project deliverables, and contribute to scope definition and project pursuits.
- Enhance the technical knowledge within the team through workshops, industry events, and professional publication reviews.
- Travel may be required for site visits, client meetings, or project oversight.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in water and hydraulic engineering.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
- Engineer‑in‑Training (EIT) certification or a Professional Engineer (PE) license, or the ability to obtain one within one year of hire.
- Strong experience with hydraulic modeling, particularly using SWMM and/or ICM, and proficiency in GIS.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, and a deep understanding of wastewater hydraulic modeling and master planning.
- Master’s degree.
- Project delivery experience and familiarity with computer programming tools like Power BI or Python.

Salary range for this position is $95,000 - $161,000, varying by experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
