Your impact

At Jacobs, we challenge what is currently accepted, so we can shape innovative and lasting solutions for tomorrow. If you’re interested in a long and rewarding career working with the industry’s best and most innovative engineers, then Jacobs is where you belong. We are looking for a driven, well organized, and client focused Senior Structural Engineering Professional to grow with our team in Cincinnati OH.

As a Senior Structural Engineering Professional you will collaborate closely with architects, and structural engineers. You will lead structural engineering teams from Concept Design through Construction, as well as provide structural engineering input to our Jacobs Architecture Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) as they develop feasibility studies, concept designs, and masterplans.

We are looking for someone who is comfortable working directly with clients. A person who has a firm grasp of building codes, best practices, and construction detailing, as well as excellent organizational skills and proficiency in Revit or other 3-D analysis and modeling tools. An individual who is able to take structural engineering concepts and follow through with the necessary construction documentation, as well as coordinate with architecture and other in-house engineering disciplines.

Someone who can continue beyond the engineering phase to assist with permitting efforts and construction activities. Our Engineer of Record (EOR) will typically sign off on the construction that we do the engineering for.

Bring your creativity, ambitious spirit, and extreme attention to detail, and we’ll help you grow, pursue, and fulfill what drives you – so we can deliver extraordinary solutions for a better tomorrow, together.
