Senior Civil Designer; LSNA-OH​/NC​/IN​/PA

Position: Senior Civil Designer (LSNA-OH/NC/IN/PA)
At Jacobs, we're not just building structures, we're helping our clients innovate and grow by designing, engineering, and executing the construction of their state-of-the-art facilities that are changing our world.  We push the limits of what's possible to make the world smarter, more connected and more sustainable.  We are looking for a driven and curious Senior Civil Designer at either of our Cincinnati, OH/Conshohocken, PA/Indianapolis, IN/Cary, NC locations to support our Built Environment team.  

As a key member of our Cincinnati, OH/Conshohocken, PA/Indianapolis, IN/Cary, NC offices, you'll get to grow your skills and join our team providing our clients with award-winning planning, engineering, architectural design, construction management, and design-build project delivery designing state of the art structures. You'll work closely with clients and construction trade partners as you develop design concepts, create models from scratch, and coordinate designs to consider existing conditions and other disciplines. 

You'll convey civil design requirements to the construction team through traditional 2D paper deliverables and/or Auto Cad design models.  

You'll also have the chance to provide leadership for a small project with a team of designers, establishing project standards, procedures, training, developing your team, and building and maintaining team morale. You'll also coordinate the work of the designer team, assigning work, balancing workloads, monitoring progress towards deadlines, and ensuring quality standards are met. Come be a part of a vibrant, dynamic team that delivers world class designs for well-known clients around the world

-    At least 10 years of drafting and design experience in the civil design field

-    At least 3 years of AutoCAD design

-    Experience working on traditional steel and concrete structures 

Ideally, you'll also have: 

-    At least 4 years of AutoCAD experience 

-    Experience working on traditional steel and concrete structures 

-    Experience leading a team of Designers 

- Experience with healthcare /institutional /commercial buildings 

-    Experience working on complex civil design components
