Civil Engineering - Project Manager

Position Overview

As a Civil Engineering Project Manager/Senior Project Manager at Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) in our Cincinnati, OH office, you will manage client and project relationships, oversee technical and financial management of projects, and contribute to business development activities.

Manage all aspects of civil engineering projects, including design, permitting, scheduling, budgeting, and quality control. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (survey, geotechnical, traffic, environmental, ecological, etc.) and assign tasks to principal and junior staff. Lead technical reviews of client deliverables, maintain involvement throughout project design, and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Represent CEC at conferences, events, client meetings, and regulatory agency interactions.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Civil or Environmental) or related field.
• 7+ years of relevant design and permitting experience, including earth disturbance and stormwater permits, and municipal approval process.
• Professional Engineering License (P.E.).
• Civil design and permitting experience related to site layout, grading, stormwater, erosion control, and sediment control.
• Familiarity with the Ohio regional marketplace and environmental regulatory agencies.
• Active engagement in trade organizations and/or familiarity working in PA, WV, KY, and IN (preferred).
• Exceptional communication, strategic thinking, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multi‑discipline projects and mentor junior staff.
