Compensation: $60.00-$66.00 /hr.
Schedule:
40 hours/week
- Develop and refine engineering requirements.
- Interface with customers and cross-functional teams.
- Design ruggedized electronics for ordnance applications, ensuring requirement compliance.
- Perform simulations, circuit tolerance analyses, and design reviews.
- Prepare and execute test plans, generate test reports, and conduct comprehensive testing.
- Assist in failure investigations using structured methods.
- Prepare materials for design reviews and generate engineering change orders.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Lead technical projects and produce detailed technical documentation.
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
- 8+ years of experience in analog and digital circuit design, power circuit design, and sensor integration.
- 8+ years of experience in power supply and conversion design.
- 8+ years of experience participating in design reviews and root cause analysis.
- Proficiency in design of analog components (differential amplifiers, op-amps, filters) and digital components (logic gates, timers).
- Skilled in simulation tools (SPICE, MATLAB/Simulink) and design software (Altium, PADS).
- Competent in circuit analysis, module design, EMI, and ESD protection best practices.
- Experience with testing, troubleshooting using standard lab equipment (oscilloscopes, function generators).
- Adept at multitasking across several projects and self‑starter with minimal supervision.
- Knowledge of extreme environmental design and testing with energetic materials.
- Effective communication skills, including presentations and customer communication.
- Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
- Experience with Electronic Safety and Arming Devices (ESADs) and presenting to Safety Review Boards.
- Experience with software tools such as PADS, Altium, and MATLAB/Simulink for system-level modeling.
- Experience with data‑shift, frequency bias, EMIT losses, and voltage variations in designs.
- Experience in managing technical projects and producing detailed technical documentation.
- Experience in obtaining and maintaining security clearance and background checks.
- Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check.
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
