Quality Engineer Job Cincinnati area,Ohio USA,Engineering

Key Responsibilities:

Identify, investigate, and collaborate on customer quality issues using root cause analysis tools to determine causes and implement corrective actions
Support quality management systems including ISO
9001, AS9100D, ISO
17025, and other applicable standards
Participate in documentation control, internal and external audits, and calibration activities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and consistency across operations
Participate in site-level projects focused on improving efficiency, yield, and overall quality performance
Work directly with customers to address and resolve quality concerns effectively

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in a scientific or technical field required
Bachelor’s Degree in Metallurgy preferred
3+ years of experience in metals or materials production environment preferred
Strong knowledge of systematic quality management systems required
ETQ experience required
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent communication skills for both internal teams and external customers
Ability to train and support team members
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and solution-oriented mindset
Ability to manage tasks and deliverables within deadlines
Preferred:
Up to 10% travel

Physical Requirements:

Regular sitting and computer use
Frequent use of hands for handling tools, objects, and controls
Ability to communicate verbally and hear effectively
Occasional lifting up to 35 lbs
Occasional standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and crouching
