Join us as a Field Chemist and launch your career in environmental services!
In this hands-on role, you'll work directly with hazardous materials in a compliance-focused, safety-first environment. You'll be responsible for identifying, packaging, and labeling hazardous waste for safe transport and disposal. Gain valuable industry experience while making a meaningful impact-protecting the environment and the communities we serve.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Classify, package, and label hazardous waste for safe transport and disposal
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and internal safety policies
- Complete regulatory paperwork accurately and on time
- Sample materials and unpack hazardous waste at treatment facilities
- Input data and research materials using company software
- Operate a 26-foot box truck once CDL Class B is obtained (CDL training provided)
- Perform other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, or related field preferred
- Previous lab packing experience preferred but not required
- Basic understanding of-or interest in learning-hazardous waste regulations
- Must have valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Able to pass a physical exam, drug screen, and background check
- Willing and able to travel and wear a full-face respirator
- Must be able to obtain a Class B CDL with hazmat endorsement within 6 months of hire
