Controls Engineer

Pay: $80K-$110K (Based on Experience)

Role Overview

The Controls Engineer will lead the design, programming, and implementation of Building Automation Systems (BAS/DDC) for HVAC applications from concept through commissioning.

Key Responsibilities

* Design BAS/DDC systems, including sequences of operation and architecture

* Develop control drawings, wiring diagrams, and submittals

* Program controllers and graphics (Niagara, Eco Struxure, or similar)

* Support or lead startup, commissioning, and system validation

* Troubleshoot and optimize system performance

* Provide technical guidance to field teams

* Maintain accurate project documentation

* On-time, high-quality project delivery

* Minimal post-installation issues

* Strong system performance and energy efficiency results

* High client satisfaction

Who You Are

A self-driven engineer who enjoys solving complex problems and owning projects from start to finish.

Qualifications & Experience

* Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience

* 3-5+ years in building automation or HVAC controls

* Experience with BAS/DDC system design and implementation

* Strong HVAC systems knowledge (RTUs, VAVs, AHUs)

* Familiarity with Niagara, Eco Struxure, or similar

* Proficiency in AutoCAD/Visio and Microsoft Office
