Johnson & Johnson Med Tech is currently recruiting an Associate Test Engineer, R&D - Med Tech. The position is located in Cincinnati, OH & will work a hybrid schedule with 3 days per week in the office.
You will be responsible for:
* Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for all Harmonic Lab equipment and processes, providing technical guidance and support to ensure optimal performance.
* Serve as an SME for lab equipment and preventive maintenance, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices for maintaining equipment accuracy and reliability.
* Assist in the identification, development, and implementation of equipment enhancements to improve efficiency and performance in R&D activities.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, optimize, and validate processes, ensuring alignment with engineering standards and project objectives.
* Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including user manuals, technical specifications, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for equipment and processes.
* Serve as the functional lab lead for technical staff on equipment functionality, best practices, and troubleshooting techniques to foster a culture of knowledge sharing.
* Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and quality control measures in all engineering practices and R&D projects.
* Stay current with advancements in engineering practices, technologies, and equipment relevant to the research and development field.
* Ensure strict adherence to Good Documentation Practices (GDP) to maintain compliance and uphold quality standards in regulated environments.
Qualifications and Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or a related field is required.
* Proven background in equipment maintenance, validation processes, or relevant technical experience within R&D settings is required.
* Demonstrated ability to analyze and effectively solve complex technical problems in a laboratory environment is required.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
