Job Summary:
The Industrial Engineer will optimize complex processes and systems to eliminate waste. Blending engineering principles with business practices to maximize productivity, ensure worker safety, and reduce costs.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Process Optimization:
Identify bottlenecks, eliminate waste, and refine production workflows. - Analysis & Modeling:
Utilize statistical tools and mathematical models to evaluate operational metrics, forecast production capacities, and drive data-backed decisions. - Workflow Design:
Perform time and motion studies, configure facility layouts, and balance production lines to increase throughput. - Safety & Ergonomics:
Ensure workstations and manufacturing concepts align with ergonomic safety standards to mitigate workplace injuries. - Documentation & Training:
Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs), flow charts, and training materials to sustain process improvement - Maintains knowledge of best practices in manufacturing methods, and trends and developments in technology and equipment; applies this knowledge to maintain the organization’s competitive edge.
- Identifies and assesses various problems and departures from established manufacturing standards and best practices; researches and recommends solutions.
- Develops and maintains management information, planning, and control systems.
- Implements methods and modifications to reduce production costs.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Thorough understanding of ergonomics and applicable industry standards.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with simulation and CAD software, workflow analysis, and data analytics tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Soft Skills:
Strong cross-functional collaboration, project management, and problem-solving abilities to bridge the gap between management and the production floor.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering required.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times.
- Must be able to access and navigate all areas in the facility and access all machinery.
