Overview
As a Civil Engineering Assistant Project Manager for Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) in Cincinnati, OH, you'll work with project teams to create land development plans for commercial, institutional, and energy clients. You'll design site layouts, grading plans, stormwater management facilities, water quality best management practices, and utilities. You'll interact with clients, contractors, and local government officials, impacting the project from concept and design through regulatory review, bidding, and construction.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- 5+ years civil engineering experience; or a relevant combination of experience and education, including site layout, grading, stormwater, and utility design
- Engineering in Training (EIT) or Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) certification and desire to obtain Professional Engineering License (P.E.)
- Practical experience with technical software and Civil Engineering technology, including AutoCAD/Civil 3D and hydrologic/hydraulic modeling software
- Interest in participating in internal and external client- and professional-development-based organizations
- Excellent communication, mentoring, and time‑management skills
