As a Controls Engineer
, you’ll play a critical role in the design, programming, implementation, and long‑term success of advanced Building Automation Systems across commercial and industrial facilities. You’ll collaborate with project managers, field technicians, sales teams, and customers to deliver innovative, energy‑efficient, and high‑performing control solutions.
This is more than a programming position — it’s an opportunity to help customers solve real‑world operational challenges through advanced automation technologies and intelligent building solutions, including:
- Building Automation Systems
- HVAC Controls & System Programming
- Third‑Party Equipment Integration
- Long‑Term Building Reliability & Efficiency
- Develop and program Direct Digital Control (DDC) systems for HVAC applications
- Configure BAS/DDC platforms, databases, alarms, trends, and integrations
- Support system startup, commissioning, troubleshooting, and optimization
- Collaborate with project managers, technicians, and field teams throughout project execution
- Develop control strategies and sequences of operation
- Integrate third‑party equipment using BACnet, Modbus, and related protocols
- Provide technical support and customer training
- Maintain project documentation, backups, and as‑built system records
- Help drive long‑term customer success and system performance
- Experience with BAS/DDC systems, HVAC controls, or automation technologies
- Strong understanding of commercial HVAC systems, electrical systems, and control theory
