As a Water Resources Project Manager for Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) based in Cincinnati, OH, you will lead projects from conception through construction, delivering hydrologic and hydraulic analyses, dam safety assessments, stormwater and utility infrastructure design, stream restoration, and floodplain and drainage studies. You will perform H&H modeling, engineering calculations, produce engineering drawings, and collaborate with clients, contractors, and local government officials.
Responsibilities- Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic analysis for water resources projects.
- Perform dam safety assessments, design, compliance, and rehabilitation.
- Design stormwater facilities, utility infrastructure, and stream restoration projects.
- Carry out floodplain and drainage studies, including H&H modeling with HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, and Hydro
CAD. - Produce engineering drawings and technical reports.
- Engage with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies throughout the project lifecycle.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
- 10+ years of experience in water resources projects, including hydrology, hydraulics, stormwater management, dam safety, utility infrastructure, or stream restoration.
- Proficiency with HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, Hydro
CAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D, or similar hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software. - Experience producing engineering drawings.
- Strong writing skills and ability to prepare technical reports.
- Experience with Unsteady Flow and 2D Hydraulic Modeling is preferred but not required.
