Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Piping Designe to support the design and execution of complex industrial and pharmaceutical facility projects. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work on state-of-the-art facilities while collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams across multiple offices.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and coordinating piping designs, creating 2D and 3D models, reviewing vendor drawings, supporting project schedules and budgets, and communicating design and scope changes throughout project execution. This individual will also provide mentorship to junior designers and contribute to the overall technical success of the team.
Required Qualifications- sAssociate's Degree in Computer-Aided Drafting and Design (CADD) or a related technical field
- Minimum of 15 years of piping design experienc
- Advanced proficiency with piping design and 3D modeling software, including Hexagon Smart Plant S3, Autodesk Plant 3, and DExperience supporting industrial, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, or process facility projects
- Strong understanding of piping design principles and multidisciplinary coordination
- sExcellent verbal and written communication skills
- .Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- .Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- .Forward-thinking mindset with a desire to learn and implement innovative solutions
- .Experience mentoring junior team members and collaborating across multiple disciplines
- .Preference for candidates located near Cincinnati, OH
- .Open to qualified candidates located anywhere within the United States
