About the Position

The Project Manager will oversee the planning, coordination, execution, and successful delivery of projects involving water treatment systems, dewatering operations, and heavy civil construction applications. This position requires a strong combination of project management expertise, technical aptitude, customer relationship management, and operational leadership.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter with excellent organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and a hands-on approach to solving complex project challenges. This individual will work closely with clients, vendors, field personnel, and internal teams to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop project objectives by reviewing project proposals, plans, specifications, and customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Assembly & Fabrication, Operations, and Management teams to ensure successful project execution.
  • Define project scope, schedules, milestones, resource requirements, and responsibilities.
  • Oversee procurement activities, evaluate vendor proposals, and ensure materials and equipment meet project specifications.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules while proactively identifying and resolving potential project risks and obstacles.
  • Monitor project costs, budgets, schedules, and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate communication among clients, subcontractors, vendors, field personnel, and internal stakeholders.
  • Prepare and manage project submittals, Requests for Information (RFIs), technical documentation, and status reports.
  • Ensure compliance with client requirements, OSHA regulations, company policies, and safety standards.
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of Operations & Maintenance (O&M) manuals, proposals, and project documentation.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through responsive communication and effective problem-solving.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives through root cause analysis and process optimization efforts.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • Project management or construction management experience within heavy civil, industrial, infrastructure, environmental, or related industries.
  • Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 25%.
  • Flexibility to support occasional weekend and night-shift work as required by project schedules.

  • Water treatment and filtration systems

  • Root cause analysis and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Process and flow design
  • Ability to read and interpret Process & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)
  • Mechanical aptitude and equipment troubleshooting experience
