Electromechanical Engineer

Deep understanding of manufacturing process such as PCB fabrication and assembly - SMT reflow, AOI, X-Ray, Encapsulation, Laser etching and electrical testing. Ability to choose the best mfg processes for the component utilizing DFM/A and RFQ processes, leading to highest quality with lowest cost. Expertise in GD&T and drawing interpretation to challenge and direct effective communication to enable robust manufacturing and CTQ (Critical to Quality) parameters.

Ability to understand and work with EES test lab and/or carry out DVT to demonstrate design intent (reliability testings) per organization procedures Gauge/ Test Fixture equipment development Ability to document and maintain process development documentation as directed by EES current Quality Policies Knowledge of Metrology principles, gages etc Ability to carry out product level qualification Experience in medical device manufacturing requirements for product or process change management is preferred Ability to understand quality documentation needs of the organization pertaining to component qualification (PPAP or similar) Six Sigma Green Belt or higher certification preferred Demonstrated execution of process or product change management

Understand and conduct DOE's for process characterizations/mfg development Lead the qualification of Assembly equipment/processes and tooling for PCB, PCBA's and other identified parts. Analyze results and make informed recommendations on the best practice for manufacturing while setting expectation to selected suppliers Work with suppliers on process development activities, and monitor the execution through launch Effective communication with suppliers on design requirements and process capability needs Support and develop the use of statistical techniques, develop validation protocols, qualify first articles, complete process capability studies & process validation on both internal & supplier processes Support and develop generation of all documentation & specifications for process & equipment including drawings, process specifications, PS & OM sheets, routers, IPQA specifications & troubleshooting guide Risk analysis including use of FMEA Process validation practices (GMP) Product design & DFMA (Design for Manufacturing & Assembly) 30% travel or as required expected

Multiple Project Planning and execution Cost analysis Organizational / planning skills, Ability to work independently under minimal supervision Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment Excellent English language, oral and written skills Ability to work in a cross functional, cross cultural environment

Eng. Degree (Electro-Mechanical background) OR Associate Degree (or extended mfg. engineering training) Six Sigma certified-Green Belt or higher preferred IPC & External Standards experience preferred
