Salary Range: $110,000–$135,000 annually. Compensation is negotiable and commensurate with experience, technical expertise, industry background, and overall qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop process simulations, PFDs, and P&IDs
- Perform heat & material balances and hydraulic calculations
- Size and specify pumps, heat exchangers, distillation columns, tanks, valves, and instrumentation
- Create equipment specifications and support 3D model reviews
- Design process control strategies and provide startup/commissioning support
- Drive process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives
- BS in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- 10+ years of process engineering experience in biofuels, biochemicals, ethanol, biodiesel, SAF, biogas, chemical processing, or oil & gas
- Expertise with Aspen, HYSYS, CHEMCAD, PRO/II, or similar process simulation software
- Solid knowledge of API, ASME, ASTM, OSHA, NFPA, and process safety principles
- Experience with heat exchanger design, hydraulic calculations, instrumentation, and control valve sizing
- PE license preferred
