Technical Engineer Contractor

We are looking for an experienced and skilled Technical Engineer Contractor to join our client's team in the engineering sector. In this role, you will contribute to providing technical expertise and support in the development, implementation, and maintenance of engineering solutions. You will be designing and developing technical solutions to address complex engineering problems, conducting system integration, testing, and validation to ensure the performance and reliability of technical solutions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide technical guidance.

Responsibilities:

• Designing and developing technical solutions to address complex engineering problems.
• Conducting system integration, testing, and validation to ensure the performance and reliability of technical solutions.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide technical guidance.
• Performing troubleshooting and resolving technical issues to maintain system functionality.
• Documenting technical specifications, processes, and procedures for future reference and compliance.

Requirements:

• US Citizenship required.
• An experienced API/platform development engineer with Apigee hybrid migration experience.
• Strong proxy development skills, Kubernetes, and scripting capability.
• Ability to work directly within a team environment.
• 6-9 years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications (if any):

• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure/AWS, especially in containerized deployments and infrastructure automation.
• Integration experience with REST/SOAP APIs, auth patterns, transformations, backend connectivity, and API lifecycle support.
