Engineered Systems Technician 3/4
Key responsibilities include:- Operating, maintaining, and commissioning high-power RF equipment.
- Troubleshooting and repairing RF and electrical systems.
- Assisting in designing system upgrades and new equipment.
- Providing on-call support during off-hours and weekends.
- Experience with electronic test tools (oscilloscopes, multimeters).
- Ability to interpret electrical schematics.
- Prototyping electronic chassis, mechanical and wiring tasks.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Proficiency with CAD software for schematics.
experience with RF test equipment, high-voltage/high-power systems, pulsed power, RF systems, circuit simulation, and cooling systems.
Education & Experience:- Engineered Systems Tec 3:
Associate's Degree + 3 years experience. - Engineered Systems Tec 4:
Associate's Degree + 5 years experience, with potential additional training.
Onsite in Los Alamos, NM, with full-time commitment.
