Description
The Sr Product Development Engineer (PDE) will support rapid growth in aerospace programs. This role is critical to increasing engineering bandwidth as current resources are stretched across a high-volume, fast-paced workload.
Responsibilities/skills- Support product development efforts for aerospace programs
- Drive projects from concept through launch
- Interface directly with customers
- Lead initiatives with minimal oversight; take ownership of work streams
- Contribute to building and scaling a new/emerging aerospace-focused capability
- Strong product development engineering background
- Experience with design reviews, feasibility assessments, and GD&T
- CAD experience and understanding of assemblies/manufacturing processes
- Experience with aluminum (highly preferred)
- Aerospace industry experience (bonus, not required)
- Experience with PLM tools (e.g., Teamcenter) is helpful but not critical
- Broader metals experience (e.g., steel, castings) acceptable if aluminum is limited
