About the Role

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Manager to lead our quality program and help ensure we deliver equipment that meets the highest standards for safety, reliability, and performance.

This is a hands-on technical leadership role for someone who understands pressure vessel fabrication, welding, ASME Codes, and inspection—and enjoys solving problems alongside Operations, Engineering, Welding, customers, and inspectors.

What You'll Do
  • Develop project-specific quality plans, including ITPs, welding compliance plans, weld mapping, and related documentation.
  • Lead improvements to quality processes, systems, audits, and training.
  • Provide quality support to shop and field personnel.
  • Develop WPSs, PQRs, and WPQs and provide welding support.
  • Complete ASME Code data reports and final quality packages.
  • Develop QA/QC procedures and process sheets.
  • Work with customers, AIA representatives, and third-party inspectors.
  • Review customer specifications and support estimating.
  • Provide technical solutions related to welding, NDE, Codes, heat treatment, passivation, and mechanical testing.
  • Perform shop and field inspections of pressure vessels and boilers as needed.
  • Partner with the Welding Engineer and Metallurgist on welding and materials projects.
  • Identify opportunities to improve quality, efficiency, and cost.
What We're Looking For
  • 5–10 years of experience in construction or fabrication.
  • Strong experience with ASME pressure vessel fabrication
    .
  • Experience with API tanks or ASME pressure piping is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of GTAW, GMAW, FCAW, SMAW, SAW, and PAW welding processes.
  • Experience developing WPSs, PQRs, and WPQs.
  • Strong understanding of ASME Code requirements and documentation.
  • Familiarity with ASME B31.1, B31.3, B31.4, B31.8, API 1104, ASME Sections I, V, VIII, and IX, and AWS D1.1.
  • Knowledge of NDE methods and their applications.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with customers, inspectors, engineers, and operations.
Education & Certifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field preferred, but not required.
  • Mechanical or Welding Engineering background is a plus.
  • PE license is a plus.
  • AWS CWI and/or CRI certification is a plus.
  • ASNT NDE Level I, II, or III is a plus.
  • Welding experience and training is a plus.
