Lead, Electrical Engineering – Hardware Design
Schedule: 4/10 — 10-hour shifts, 4 days/week
Relocation Assistance: Available for an ideal candidate
We are seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer to lead the design and development of ruggedized analog and digital electronics for ordnance applications in a fast-paced engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead analog/digital hardware design, circuit analysis, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Develop requirements, test plans/reports, Engineering Orders, and ECPs.
- Lead design reviews, failure investigations, and technical projects.
- Serve as a primary technical interface with customers.
- Mentor electrical engineering staff and manage multiple projects.
Requirements:
- B.S. in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field with 9+ years relevant experience; advanced degree with 7+ years, or 13+ years without a degree.
- 5+ years analog and digital circuit design experience.
- 4+ years power conversion and schematic/PCB design experience using tools such as Altium or PADS.
- 5+ years troubleshooting with oscilloscopes, function generators, meters, and related lab equipment.
- 4+ years leading technical projects and participating in design reviews.
- Strong technical documentation and communication skills.
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
Preferred:
Experience with UART/SPI/I²C, power supplies, EMI/ESD protection, sensors, root-cause analysis, extreme-environment design, ESAD/ISD systems, MIL-STD-1316/1901A, and energetic materials testing.
