Lab Support Engineer / Chemical Engineer

Blue Ash, OH Contract

• Wet Lab Synthesis:
  Hands-on experience in chemical and polymer synthesis.
• Chemical Formulation:
  Preparation and handling of resins, solutions, and formulations.
• Safety Protocols:
  Proven experience handling hazardous chemicals and lab safety.
• Analytical Testing:
  Familiar with FTIR, DSC, titration, and structure-property testing.
• Method Development:
  Ability to develop, document, and maintain test methods.
• Troubleshooting:
  Solving reaction, formulation, or material performance issues.
• Documentation:
  Authoring protocols, technical reports, and data interpretations.
• Isocyanate Chemistry:
  Experience is preferred but not mandatory.

• Regulated Environments:
  Understanding of GMP (medical device or pharma preferred).
• Equipment Validation:
  Experience supporting IQ/OQ/PQ processes.
• Audit Readiness:
  Documentation practices aligned with traceable, audit-ready systems.
• Lab Management:
  Prior experience overseeing general lab operations.

• Execute R&D Experiments:
  Conduct daily polymer and chemical synthesis tests.
• Manage Lab Materials:
  Prepare and organize chemical solutions and resins.
• Analyze Data:
  Interpret experimental results to draw clear technical conclusions.
• Maintain Compliance:
  Support GMP standards and assist with validation activities.
• Collaborate & Report:
  Write technical documentation and collaborate on project goals.

• Fast-Paced Adaptability:
  Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Communication:
  Fluent in English for reading, writing, and technical reporting.
• Teamwork:
  Strong collaboration skills to contribute effectively to team objectives.
• Problem Solving:
  Sound situational judgment and decision-making capabilities.
