ESSENTIAL

FUNCTIONS

(These functions are intended as a general illustration of the work performed in this job classification and are not all inclusive for this position)

  • Greets Player’s Club guests in a courteous and friendly manner and explains amenities and features.
  • Effectively explains loyalty program structure and how to qualify for different levels of complimentary services and/or goods.
  • Able to quickly and efficiently enroll guests into the Rewards Program while maintaining superb Guest Service.
  • Responsible for cashing electronic checks, Credit and Debit transactions, lottery tickets and claims, cash out vouchers, Casino Credit, cash exchanges and other cash transactions.
  • Handles large amounts of money, accounting for total funds received throughout the day and at the end of each day.
  • Knowledgeable in Property and Company Marketing promotions and events and able to communicate requirements and rules to guests and fellow team members.
  • Safeguards the assets of the Department and Company while maintaining and balancing a cash drawer without variances.
  • Ensures the safety and security of internal and external guests personal information and makes Confidentiality a priority.
  • Understands, complies and completes tasks aligned with Federal Title 31 requirements.
  • Understands and follows Property and Corporate policies and procedures set forth by the Department.
  • Works closely with Executive Hosts and VIP Gaming Services to ensure superior guest satisfaction.
  • Responsible for resolving customer service issues, concerns, or problems to ensure optimal guest satisfaction and has the resiliency to deal with difficult customers.
  • Capable of assisting and effectively communicate job responsibilities to new team members to ensure proper training across shifts.
  • Performs related duties and responsibilities as required
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

These skills and abilities are typically acquired through a high school education or equivalent and a minimum of one year of administering and communicating casino player-tracking program.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS (Licenses, Certifications, Testing, etc.)
  • Ability to maintain all regulatory licenses within assigned state of employment
  • Must successfully pass background check
  • Must successfully pass an alcohol and drug screening
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY
  • Ability to effectively communicate with customers, outside contacts, and all levels of employees.
  • Ability to review and comprehend all necessary documentation.
  • Ability to observe and direct actions of subordinates.
  • Ability to use computer, keyboard, and similar equipment.
  • Must be flexible to work varying shifts and time schedules as needed.
  • This position operates in a working environment that is subject to varying levels of crowds, noise, the severity of which depends upon customer volume.
KNOWLEDGE OF:
  • Understanding of property and department policies and procedures.
  • Thorough knowledge of player-tracking system(s) and comprehension of actual and theoretical player value.
ABILITY TO:
  • Ability to use all equipment associated with the position including player-tracking system, AS/400, computer keyboard, telephone.
  • Ability to review and comprehend player tracking screens, reports, and all other necessary information and documentation.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and all levels of employees.
  • Ability to observe and direct actions of subordinates.
  • Ability to effectively and efficiently move around all work areas.
  • Ability to balance bank at end of shift
  • Ability to identify and accurately cash different denominations of cash currency, checks, direct mail offers, etc.
