Position: REVELxp - Operations Game Day Intern, University of Cincinnati

REVELXP is a premier sports hospitality company. We work with hundreds of college and professional teams and major sporting events to deliver exceptional fan experiences, including full-service tailgates, premium hospitality events, and exclusive ticket packages. In addition to managing fan experience offerings, we also provide comprehensive hospitality solutions to our team and event partners with event staffing, event management, premium hospitality management, and venue installations.

Tailgate Game Day Interns are needed on site in the fall of 2026 for up to 6 Saturday home games at the University of Cincinnati:

  • September 5 vs. Boston College
  • September 12 vs. Western Carolina
  • September 26 vs. Kansas State
  • October 24 vs. Texas Tech
  • October 31 vs. Utah
  • November 21 vs. Colorado
Position Summary

REVELXP is the exclusive tailgate partner for the University of Cincinnati football program and provides self-service and full-service tailgates for clients at multiple sites around Nippert Stadium. Game day interns are vital to the smooth operation of each game day, representing the REVELXP brand while providing assistance, hospitality, and customer service to each tailgating guest.

  • Greet customers and guests warmly and provide an exceptional game day experience.
  • Ensure professional presentation of all tailgates by arriving 6–7 hours prior to kickoff and completing quality‑control checks.
  • Bellhop responsibilities – welcome guests at drop‑off areas, assist unloading and transporting equipment, and answer questions.
  • Exhibit outstanding customer service by checking in with guests, proactively assisting, and transporting equipment back when needed.
  • Welcome tent supervision – manage the guest services area and direct guests to ensure smooth operations.
  • Respond promptly to customer needs, requests, and inquiries with professionalism and a can‑do attitude.
  • Assist the Event Manager and General Manager with day‑of operational tasks including setting up and breaking down equipment, managing supplies, and ensuring operational efficiency.
  • Maintain a clean and organized site, ensuring all areas are tidy and presentable throughout the event at all times.
Requirements

  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests, peers, and supervisors.
  • Must be available to work every home game (August to late November) (10–12 hours).
  • Ability to problem‑solve under pressure.
  • Excellent time management, organizational, and prioritizing skills.

  • Reliable transportation.
  • Must be at least 16 years old and able to work 10–20 hours per week.
Physical Requirements
  • Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods.
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds and assist with carrying, setting up, and moving equipment.
  • Ability to be on feet for extended periods of time.

Expectations

The intern is expected to act in a courteous manner and dress presentably as they will be representing UC Athletics and REVELXP. They are also expected to work closely with their immediate manager, keep the manager informed of any issues relating to donor/employee safety and satisfaction, and understand that they will be perceived by donors and staff as a management team member.
