Financial Analyst

CBTS is looking to add a Financial Analyst contractor to our staff on a 6 month contract opportunity. This role would require a HYBRID schedule (2 days/wk onsite) at our headquarters in Cincinnati, OH

W2 hourly rate: 45-50/hr

• Analyze financial data and business performance metrics to support strategic planning and operational decision-making.
• Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and dashboards to track KPIs across IT projects and business units.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess business cases, ROI, and cost-benefit analyses for new initiatives.
• Monitor budget adherence, variance analysis, and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to leadership.
• Having good exposure in handling GST, Income Tax, and Payroll.
• Support pricing strategies, contract analysis, and vendor financial evaluations.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to automation and efficiency initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, financial policies, and regulatory standards.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within the IT or technology sector.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.

• Knowledge of IT service delivery models, project costing, and resource utilization metrics.
• Experience in business case development and strategic financial planning.
• Familiarity with Agile/Dev Ops environments and their financial implications.
