HANA Greenfield Implementation

Location:

Wycliffe, OH (Remote with travel initially during solution design phase; 3 weeks in a month travel, expenses paid). Duration: 12+ month Contract.

We are seeking a Senior Finance Subject Matter Expert (SME) to lead the SAP S/4

HANA Greenfield implementation of Finance-related modules. This role is critical in driving design, solutioning, and implementation of SAP FI, CO, and PS modules while ensuring alignment with industry best practices and business requirements.

• Act as the functional lead and trusted advisor for SAP FI, CO, and PS during the S/4
  
  HANA greenfield deployment.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, system integrators, and the SAP program team to design end-to-end financial processes.
• Lead fit-gap analysis, solution design, blueprinting, and documentation.
• Define chart of accounts, cost centers, internal orders, project structures, and other financial master data.
• Drive the setup of new GL, asset accounting, accounts payable/receivable, bank accounting, product costing, profitability analysis (CO-PA), and project accounting in PS.
• Support data migration strategy and validation for Finance and Controlling.
• Coordinate testing (SIT, UAT) and ensure traceability to business requirements.
• Collaborate with technical teams (ABAP, BTP, Interfaces) for custom solutions and enhancements.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS/GAAP, tax regulations, and internal control requirements.
• Provide cutover, go-live, and hypercare support.

• 14+ years of hands-on SAP experience in Finance (FI), Controlling (CO), and Project Systems (PS).
• Minimum 1–2 full lifecycle implementations of SAP S/4
  
  HANA, ideally Greenfield.
• Deep understanding of finance transformation, shared services, and global process harmonization.
• Experience in Central Finance (optional but preferred).
• Knowledge of Fiori apps, Universal Journal (ACDOCA), and SAP Best Practices.
• Strong understanding of integration points with MM, SD, PP, and HR.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Professional certifications in SAP (e.g., S/4
  
  HANA Finance) are a plus.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
