Commercial Finance Attorney

We are partnered with a highly respected regional law firm in Cincinnati seeking a Commercial Finance Associate to join their growing finance practice. This role is ideal for an attorney with foundational transactional experience looking to deepen their skills across a broad range of lending matters.

• Support commercial finance transactions, including asset‑based and leveraged lending, syndicated and participated facilities, acquisition financings, fund finance, and mezzanine lending.
• Assist with workouts, amendments, forbearance agreements, and restructuring of distressed credit facilities.
• Draft and negotiate loan agreements, security documents, and closing deliverables.
• Conduct due diligence and review borrower organizational documents and collateral packages.
• Coordinate with lenders, borrowers, advisors, and internal teams to move deals from term sheet to closing.

• J.D. from an ABA‑accredited law school.
• Active Ohio Bar admission (or immediate eligibility).
• 1–3 years of commercial finance experience, including exposure to asset‑based and leveraged lending, syndicated facilities, acquisition finance, fund finance, mezzanine lending, and restructurings.
• Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple transactions in a fast‑paced environment.
