Overview

Newly created Controller role with a growing construction organization.

This is not a maintenance position. Leadership wants someone who can build structure, tighten processes, improve visibility, and bring forward-thinking financial discipline as the company scales.

You will report directly to the executive team and oversee two bookkeepers to start. High visibility. Real influence. Clear runway.

• Cash flow forecasting and liquidity management
• Monthly financials: income statement, balance sheet, cash flow
• Job cost reporting and project margin analysis
• KPI development and performance tracking
• Annual budgeting and rolling forecasts
• GAAP compliance and internal controls
• Oversight of AP, AR, payroll, and general ledger
• Audit coordination and tax support
• Financial insight for project risk and growth decisions
• You’ll work closely with operations and project leaders to ensure job-level profitability is clear and protected.

• Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years progressive accounting/finance experience
• Job costing and percentage-of-completion expertise

• Experience with construction accounting platforms (Foundation, Procore, etc.)
• Experience supporting executive leadership

This is a ground-floor leadership opportunity for someone who wants to build, not simply report.
