Jefferson Wells is seeking multiple Dealer Auditors to conduct on-site and remote audits of automotive dealerships across designated regions. The Dealer Auditor is responsible for validating that warranty claims and incentive program payments are properly documented and compliant with established policies and procedures.
This role is ideal for professionals with strong automotive dealership experience who thrive in an independent, field-based environment. Candidates must reside within one of the listed geographic areas and be able to travel extensively within their assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct on-site and remote audits of automotive dealerships within the assigned region
- Review and validate warranty claims, incentive programs, and supporting documentation
- Ensure compliance with applicable policies, procedures, and program requirements
- Identify audit findings, assess risk, and clearly document results
- Communicate audit outcomes through written reports and verbal presentations
- Independently manage weekly schedules and meet audit deadlines
- Maintain a professional presence while working in a highly travel-oriented role
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum of two years of experience working with automotive dealerships
- Strong knowledge of dealership operations, including accounting, finance, warranty administration, and incentive programs
- Ability and willingness to travel approximately 80% within the assigned region (contiguous U.S. only)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and make timely decisions
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and standard business communication tools
- Demonstrated business acumen with strong analytical capabilities and a results-driven mindset.
