Tax Manager – U.S. Sales Tax & International VAT

Total Quality Logistics (TQL) is seeking an accomplished and strategic Tax Manager to lead our indirect tax function across U.S. sales and use tax and international VAT. • Own end-to-end indirect tax compliance across U.S. and international jurisdictions
• Partner with leadership to evaluate tax implications of new initiatives
• Identify and implement process improvements for scalability and efficiency
• Monitor regulatory changes and communicate impacts to stakeholders
• Lead audits and manage relationships with tax authorities
• Oversee tax system configuration and taxability mapping
• Support financial close processes and tax reporting
• Analyze large datasets to support decision‑making

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Taxation
• 5-7 years of indirect tax experience
• Strong knowledge of U.S. sales tax and international VAT/GST
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
• Strong analytical and communication skills

• CPA or Master of Taxation
• Experience in a high-growth or logistics environment
• Experience with ERP systems or tax engines
• Track record of driving process improvements
