Salary: $95,000 - $120,000 per year.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Accountant to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. This is a permanent position that offers a unique opportunity to play a central role in our company’s financial operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for financial analysis, accounting, forecasting, management of fixed assets, cash flow statements, tax incentives, SEC filing, footnotes, consolidating financial statements, pensions, month‑end procedures, and 10‑Q and 10‑K filings.
This role requires a minimum of 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
- Perform financial analysis and prepare detailed reports and projections on all financial aspects including revenues, expenses, and capital expenditures.
- Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.
- Coordinate and direct the preparation of budget and financial forecasts and report variances.
- Oversee the management and coordination of all fiscal reporting activities including income statements, balance sheets, reports to shareholders, tax returns, and reports for government regulatory agencies.
- Manage and track the performance of invested assets in keeping with policies and investment guidelines.
- Prepare and file quarterly and annual SEC reports (10-Q, 10-K), ensuring they are accurate, complete, and filed on time.
- Coordinate the preparation of footnotes to the financial statements, including disclosures for new accounting pronouncements.
- Monitor and analyze department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Advise management on the handling of routine and non-routine reporting transactions.
- Respond to inquiries from the CFO, Controller, and other company-wide managers regarding financial results, special reporting requests, etc.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA or MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or related field.
- Experience with financial reporting requirements including 10-Q, 10-K, and SEC reporting.
- Proficient in accounting software and MS Office, particularly strong in Excel.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices, the financial markets, banking, and the analysis and reporting of financial data.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize projects to meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in the manufacturing industry is preferred.
- Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
